🕌 Funeral & Burial Instructions

Specify how you wish to be handled after death according to Islamic rites (Ahkam al-Janaiz).

Islamic Burial Rights Islamic law prescribes: Ghusl (ritual washing), Kafan (shrouding in white cloth), Salatul Janazah (funeral prayer), and burial facing the Qibla. Cremation is strictly prohibited in Islam.

📜 Charitable Bequests (Wasiyyah)

Allocate up to one-third (1/3) of your estate to charitable or non-heir beneficiaries.

📚 The 1/3 Rule (Hadith – Bukhari & Muslim) The Prophet ﷺ told Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas: "One-third, and one-third is much. It is better for you to leave your heirs wealthy than to leave them poor, begging from others."
A Wasiyyah must NOT exceed 1/3 of the net estate after debts. No Wasiyyah may be made in favour of a legal heir unless all other heirs consent.
